Support a Cause: crowdfunding run by the people doing the work

A donation platform for community projects: children's forests, tree adoption, school drives. Every project passes a human review before it goes live, and every fundraiser gets their own link that credits them automatically.

The problem

Clubs and schools raise money through many volunteers. Knowing who brought in which donation usually means asking donors to type a name, and most don't.

Organisers also need to see their project's money and people without being handed every donor's private details.

What we built

Project pages

Goal, progress, days left and the organisation behind it, on one page.

Fundraiser links

Each volunteer shares their own link; donations through it are credited to them without the donor doing anything.

Hosted payments

Payments run through Razorpay's hosted page, so card details never touch our servers.

Organiser console

Overview, donations, people and finance per project, with contact details masked and CSV export.

Review queue

New projects wait for a human check before they can collect money.

How it works

  1. SubmitAn organisation proposes a project.
  2. ReviewA person checks it before it goes live.
  3. ShareVolunteers spread their own fundraiser links.
  4. SettleEach payment is confirmed and credited to the right person and project.

Decisions that mattered

Assume payment events repeat

Payment notifications can arrive twice or out of order. Each one is recorded once, and failed payments are marked instead of sitting at 'pending' forever.

Least privilege for organisers

Organisers see first names and totals; full donor contacts stay with the platform.
